Bio
Mukta is pursuing a PhD in Chemical engineering department at the University of Arizona. She received her B. Tech degree from National Institute of Technology Karnataka in India and a master’s degree in chemical engineering at Carnegie Melon University. Mukta’s research focuses around water reclamation using Membrane distillation. She is working on identifying operation parameters to achieve higher recovery of water from high concentration streams while minimizing scaling of the membrane. When not working in the lab she enjoys reading, traveling, baking and hiking.
